Shelley China Tall Beaker shaped Mug by Mabel Lucie Attwell

A 1926 - 1939 Shelley tall mug of conic section - beaker shaped with a handle designed by Mabel Lucie Attwell. All pre-war Mabel Lucie Attwell mugs are now becoming difficult to find in such good condition .
This example bears the inscription " THE MAN IN THE MOON WOULD LOVE TO SEE THE FAIRIES I HAVE TO STAY WITH ME.".
Condition is excellent with no repairs or damages. This is a pre 1939 example bearing printed marks for Shelley (1920s / 1930s).
