Paragon China "Pixie Playtime" cup and saucer by J. A. Robinson

Extremely scarce hand painted child's cup and saucer from the Pixie Playtime series - the cup decorated with two pixies , one blowing bubbles and the other playing a trumpet on the front and other pixies at various activities both inside the cup and on the back. The saucer is illustrated with pixies having tea on a mushroom table and again with other pixie illustrations to the rim.
Both the cup and te saucer are marked with the signature of J.A. Robinson. This series was designed by J.A. Robinson and produced by Paragon in the 1920s.
Condition is very good with little wear and no damages or restoration.
The cup and saucer are marked to the base ROYAL PARAGON BY APPOINTMENT MADE IN ENGLAND REG No. around and within a rectangular shield containing the royal coat of arms.
