1920s Paragon Beatrice Mallet saucer

A scarce 1920s Paragon saucer bearing an illustration by Beatrice Mallet of a young child playing golf with another carrying the golf clubs, and with the Legend..."Bill on golf is very keen And without his clubs he's rarely seen". Also bears the signature "Beatrice Mallet below the illustration.
Back of the plate bears the mark - "Lawleys' NORFOLK POTTERY STOKE PARAGON CHINA".(Lawleys' was a prestigious Regent Street store in London's West End who in the 1920s and 1930s bought in top quality ceramics from the best designers and manufacturers of the day including Paragon, Clarice Cliff, Royal Venton Ware. Often they had their own mark either combined or added to the manufacturer's mark - as is the case with this teaplate. It is not a later edition and was made and sold at the same time as similar examples carrying only the Paragon mark).
Condition is vey good with little or no wear.
