Stock No. 465

A Carlton Ware Lustre Pottery Walking Ware very scarce and much sought after cup, formed as the bottom half of a waitress, dressed in black with black tights, a white pinafore and red high heeled shoes.
This was designed by Roger Michell as part of the range of "Specials" produced for Carlton Ware and Lustre Pottery in the late 1970s and early 1980s, and made only for a short period in small numbers.
It is painted under and over the glaze (the red high heel shoes are over glaze), and is in excellent condition.
