A 1920s Scarce Whistle Egg Cup Modelled as a Steam Train -Sold

Stock No. 366

A 1920s whistle egg cup modelled as a steam train engine, decorated with brown and blue lustre glazes, and with black detailing.
Whistle eggcups of this period are now very scarce and were largely made in Germany for the the British market, It is marked with a circular stamp to base, reading "Foreign", which is preferentially how German pre war eggcups were marked in those periods (rather than using "made in Germany").
Condition is very good but with some of the blue lustre glaze absent on one side (which is good as some examples seen are missing decoration completely on one side).

Dimensions :
height : 1.5 inches
length : 4 inches
