1st series 1920s Shelley china Baby's Bowl by Hilda Cowham

An extremely scarce 1920s 1st series Shelley China Baby's bowl designed by Hilda Cowham depicting a young girl in the centre weaving flower garlands assisited by fairies, and around the edge is a border of fairies linked by flower garlands.
Below the central image is the legend "Fairies here Fairies there, Dancing round on bright green ground,Chubby Charlie and neat little Nan, Try and catch them if you can! Fairies everywhere."
Condition is good with no damage or restoration but with some wear - mainly to the black lettering which has a faded appearance.
Marked to the reverse with the Shelley 'shield' backstamp and "MADE IN ENGLAND" Also with the Registered design number "RD.709690" (See illustration above).
