Early German (Thuringia) porcelain toothbrush holder, well modelled as a humanised bulldog dressed in the uniform and helmet of a 19th century German policeman, with a bugle at his belt, and portayed as crossly writing notes in his notebook. (pencil top is restored) Decorated in colors.
Printed marks for Schwarzburg (Rudolstadt Volkstedt) to base.
