A Porcelain Mandarin Duck Sucrier designed by Edouard Marcel Sandoz in green, white and pink for Theodore De Haviland ( of Limoges, France) in the mid 1920s and signed by Edouard Marcel Sandoz and with printed marks to the inner lid - and with further printed and signed marks and impressed marks for both Theodore De Haviland Limoges and Edouard Marcel Sandoz to the base.
Condition appears excellent.
These pieces designed by Sandoz (who was a well respected Swiss sculptor of animal figures) for Theodore De Haviland are considered iconic Art Deco designs and now very scarce and desirable.
