1920's Paragon Beatrice Mallet Series Mug

A very scarce 1920's Paragon children's mug designed by Beatrice Mallet with a nicely hand coloured illustration of a child driving an open top car of the period with bags and luggage crammed behind him.
On the reverse is the rhyme -
Hurrah for home and holidays
And don't you think it's fine
To drive home in a motor car
as new and smart as mine?

Condition is excellent with no damage or restoration and little or no wear.
Marked to the base with the Paragon star mark plus PARAGON FINE BONE CHINA MADE IN ENGLAND Beatrice Mallet Series. Also handmarked to the base with the series pattern number "7636/1".
