Paragon Tinker Tailor Series Bowl by Louis Wain

A rare Paragon shallow bowl/plate from the Tinker Tailor Series (which was first issued in 1918) decorated with an illustration by Louis Wain (well known for his comic illustrations of cats). The illustration depicts an anthropomorphic cat, dressed in green trousers, yellow shirt and blue waistcoat, seated and threading a needle, with a pink jacket on his lap, scissors and a fabric scrap at his feet, and with the title "The Busy Tailor".
Condition is extremely good with no damages or restorations and little or no wear to the hand coloured enamels in the illustration.
Marked to the base with the Paragon Star mark and PARAGON CHINA ENGLAND Tinker Tailor Series
