Carlton Ware Walking Ware Easter Egg Cup & Cover
Stock No. 302
An attactive
Carlton Ware Lustre Pottery Walking £are Easter Egg cup and cover
- an amusing parody of the world famous Faberge Easter Eggs. This was one of the "Special" walking ware items designed by
Roger Michell
as an Easter gift circa 1980 for Carlton Ware.
Decorated as an Easter Egg with green spots and a striped green bow standing on yellow feet, the cover surmounted by a yellow chick with splayed legs straddling the top, this Easter Egg cup and cover is one of the more scarce of the walking ware "Specials" produced in that period.
Printed combined semi-circular mark to the base of a foot for Carlton Ware and Lustre Pottery. Excellent condition.

height : 6 inches
