1980s "Come Dancing" Tea Pot by Roy Simpson for J. Luber - Sold

A"Come Dancing" teapot designed by Roy Simpson for Swiss pottery company - Luber in the 1980s.
Roy Simpson designed a whole range of comical teapots in the style of Beryl Cook portraying plump people in various activities for Luber. He also did one such design the "Tumbling Skier" for Carlton Ware.
Unusually still bearing the paper label for Luber on the base - Reads - "EXCLUSIVELY DESIGNED BY ROY SIMPSON FOR J.LUBER" - and with impressed marks - No. 4 . Condition is excellent.
